Choose Gas Agency

First, you need to decide which Agency LPG gas connection you wish to obtain. The major companies in India are: Indian Oil Corporation (Indane Gas), Bharat Petroleum (Bharat Gas), and Hindustan Petroleum (HP Gas). It is advisable to choose the Agency that has an agency located nearby in your area, or one known for providing good service.

Connection Fees

When obtaining a new LPG connection, you are required to pay a security deposit 2,000 and ₹3,000+, along with certain other charges. This typically includes fees for the gas cylinder, regulator, and, in some cases, the connecting pipe or stove. Upon making the payment, you will be issued a receipt.

Receive Your Connection and Cylinder

Following the payment and verification of documents, the agency will issue you a new gas connection number and provide you with the LPG cylinder, regulator, and other accessories.

Apply Online Process

Open the website or app of Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum, or Hindustan Petroleum, and click on ‘New LPG Connection’.
Register Enter your mobile number and create an account by verifying it via OTP.
Fill out the Form Enter your name, address, Aadhaar number, and details of the nearest gas agency.
Upload Documents Upload your Aadhaar card, proof of address, photograph, and bank details.
Pay the Fees Pay the connection fee online using UPI, a card, or Net Banking.
Receive the Connection Upon successful payment, you will receive a connection number, and the LPG cylinder will be delivered to your home.
